The Truth

None of us really want to hear it. Yet it holds the key to what we are yearning for.

We look for it from others, when we can only find it from the One who gave it to us…in our hearts.

It isn’t the free ride we hope for, but a torrent of trials and things we’d rather hide from.

This is why the resistance and intensity is so strong.

No one really wants us to know it, the truth, that is. Not even ourselves.

Then we’d be free…and what in the world might we do then?

If all that was left was peace and joy and love?

And so we continue to struggle.
